The Blackboard 9.1 Service Pack 5 upgrade was a success.  The Blackboard system was restored by 4:15 PM. University of Cincinnati will be taking down all of their hosted Blackboard systems, including Columbus State's,  to install a new I/O module in the storage unit.  The faculty module is what caused the unexpected downtime on Wednesday, May 18.  Replacing the I/O module should prevent this issue from occurring again.
